Derek is 5!! Happy Birthday!!

Today was Derek's birthday!!! He is 5 I can't believe it. He had a great birthday, he got transformers and a transformer t shirt and a star wars movie. He also got an ice cream cake. It was really good. Saturday we went to the new water park that President Bush dedicated. It was a lot of fun and the boys loved it. Plus they had some friends to join in on the fun. Happy Birthday Derek we love you so much!!!

Cousins and 4th of July fun

These are a few things the boys did with their cousins when they visited. They all had so much fun together. They played outside, caught frogs, played at Petra's school with the scooter things, played with play dough, swimming lots and lots of swimming, they went to a few movies. They just played and played and played they all just love to play with each other. The 4th was fun too, and President Bush even came to our small town. Lynsie and I saw him and his wife driving back to the air port. I always thought they had tinted windows but you could see them. It was pretty cool! The fireworks were great too, and we had a ton of glow sticks and bracelets. I was so glad they were able to come and stay as long as they did. I love spending time with them and with Lynsie. We love you guys!!

Bennetts hair is so cute!

He was really good...there were moments I thought he might cry, but he made it through. He doesn't look like a baby anymore.

T-ball and Big tree

Tyson played T-ball again this year. He had so much fun and his coach was so great. Last year I think he didn't have as much fun, the coach wasn't as good. They kind of made fun of the kids that didn't really know how to play. Well hello it is some of these kids first time to play so give them a brake. They didn't even really take the time to teach them anything. This years coach was amazing, she showed them how to do it and made them feel good even if they missed or didn't do it right. At the end of the season she got them all trophies. Tyson LOVED it and was so proud. (because a few weeks ago the boys found all Jared's trophies from growing up and they thought he was so amazing because of all the trophies he had.) So it really meant the world to Tyson to have is own trophy.

Camping

In May we went camping in the pasture by the pond. This was our first family camp out. Oklahoma is really to hot to camp too much. Oklahoma is so different from MT, UT, ID it is hot and humid and it stays hot and humid all day and NIGHT. I am used to hot in the day and cool in the night, but not here. But May it was perfect, we all had a lot of fun. Rhonda, Petra and David didn't camp out but we all ate marshmallow and just had fun talking and watching the fire. There is just something amazing about a fire. Needless to say the boys had a blast as you can see in the pictures.

Happy Birthdays to....

I just wanted to wish three amazing women and one amazing man a happy birthday. And to let you know that I love you and have been thinking about you.

To grandma I just wanted to say you are one of the sweetest people I know. I have never NEVER heard you utter on bad thing about anyone. You took care of Grammy and are always there for others. You are such a good example to all of us. I just love you so much and are so glad to be your granddaughter. And I love you too Win! Happy Birthday!!

Megan you are a sweetheart. I love visiting you and getting to hang out with you. I love ya to death. Hope you had a wonderful birthday.

And Happy Birthday to Rianne and Robert Today!! We love you both and hope you have a great day. Hope to visit with you both this summer.

Robert we want to wish you a happy birthday. We love being around you, your one guy that you can't stop laughing when your around. I love that about you. Not to mention you just on nice guy always going above and beyond when we visit. I love ya, and you too aunt Susan.

Rianne you are such a wonderful person always putting others before yourself. You are just so much fun to be around and just chat with. We can't wait to see you this summer. Love you so much. Have a great birthday.

Garden of my dreams

I just love Zinnas they are just so pretty.

I have planted a garden this year. I am excited and really hope things go according to plan. It isn't the prettiest garden. But I know what I want it to look like next year. I want it to be like my aunt and uncle (James and Lisa) their garden is so pretty and perfect. I hope to be able to have the same next year.

You don't realize how much work a garden really is until you are digging it. Not so fun. But hopefully it will all be worth it.
